Last evening I had a fantastic time! I attended the opening night of singer-songwriter Amanda McBroom at the Plush Room. And, believe me, when it comes to cabaret entertainment, Amanda McBroom is the best there is! Together with her fabulous pianist, Joel Silberman, she presents a program of well-chosen songs…some by herself and others by both well-known and not-well-known composers and lyricists. She is beautiful, captivating, emotional, funny and dramatic…all in one! And as soon as she hits the first note, with her superb stage presence, she has you in the palm of her hand. I give her my top rating of “10” and urge you to take your favorite date for a romantic evening of topflight cabaret. Amanda McBroom, now appearing at the Plush room thru March 14th.
